One of the things that stuck out to me in todays reading plan through Exodus is that God never left the Israelites. When He lead them out in the dessert, He was with them as a cloud during the day and a pillar of fire by night. This gives me comfort in my life knowing that God does the same for us. I guess most of my Christian life I've been afraid that God was going to lead me out into the dessert only to let me die. He will never leave nor forsake us. Good stuff!
