Men, I came across this in ~1994 and it really resonated with me. While I cannot claim to abide in this daily, I certainly try to!

The Time Bank
Each of us has such a bank. Its name is TIME. Every morning, it credits you with
86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever of this you have failed to
invest to good purpose.

It carries over no balance. It allows no overdraft. Each day it opens a new account
for you. Each night it burns the remains of the day. If you fail to use the day’s
deposits, the loss is yours.

There is no going back. There is no drawing against tomorrow. You must live in
the present on today’s deposits; invest that deposit so as to get from it the utmost in
health, happiness, and success!

The clock is running. Make the most of today.

That’s a great analogy and it’s really convicting if I dig in to the reality of it through my life. Over the years of silly habits that have ebbed and flowed throughout the years, the loss of so many seconds is staggering. This again is why I value the 90 fat challenge. It’s a purge on parts of my life that need to change. This year has been Facebook reels for me. Not sure how I’m getting by not learning the intricacies of trapping coyotes and foxes, I don’t trap, or watching kill shots of Bull elk, I love elk hunting, but somehow I have managed this last few weeks. LOL.
