Good morning gentlemen, welcome to day 39!
During the Christmas season my family got into the rhythm of daily reading the Bible together, we did a chapter of Luke aday for our advent reading. It became something I really wanted to make a permanent habit though. So I was excited to realize I could have them join me in the reading plan for Herd 90. It has started to come to the point of a habit that my older boys know that is part of how we end our days. It was also nice to incorporate them as a way to spend time with them since I have had to budget my time accordingly with everything we have going on while committing to complete Herd 90. They have also joined to varying degrees in the works, usually my outdoor walks, but the nightly reading has been the main push to do along with our bedtime prayers.

Here is the war prayer for the day:
FEBRUARY 12

Open up, ancient gates! Open up, ancient doors, and let the King of
glory enter.

-Psalm 24:7

JEHOVAH-SABBAOTh, THE GOD OF THE HEAVENLY ARMIES,
We stand before the ancient gates and wait for your
triumphal entry.

As you ride into the city, all will see your glory.

As you pass through the ancient doors, all will know your
majesty.

Even your enemies will bow low and grovel before you

Let there be loud, joyous praise in your ears!
You are worthy.
You are worthy.
You are worthy.
Amen

Here's to another day!
